It is also important not to fall more than two major releases behind as this aids in the upgrade process when major upgrades are released. Also, given the tight integration to Microsoft Office products, staying current allows you to take full advantage of this integration. This in turn increases customer satisfaction and helps keep your business streamlined.
What is Foundation Services Foundation Services is the lowest level of support plan avaialable. With this plan you will receive all major upgrades as they are released and have access to the CustomerSource TechKnowledge database.

There are many resources available to Micrsoft Dynamics GP clients. There is CustomerSource where there is plethora of technical documents available as well as a listing of upcoming Microsoft events. There are also all the latest software packs and payroll tax updates for those using the payroll module.

There is a discussion board where users can post questions to other users. If no response is given with 2 days, someone from Great Plains technical support will field the question. General topics of interest can be found in the community section of Microsoft. A map of all the business offerings can be found on the Microsoft website.
